Jesus peaking to his disciples says, 'greater works than these shall you do because I go to the Father' (John 14:12). I personally distinguish disciples from believers in the following way; believers believe that Jesus is the Son of God; disciples give up their lives for Him. Also, note the preceding descriptive, 'those who believe in me'. The amplified version describes this as 'steadfastly, consistently believing in the name of Jesus'. So there may be some stipulations to whom operating in 'greater works' applies. But for those who meet this criteria, Jesus is clear; GREATER WORKS THAN THESE SHALL YOU DO ('these' being the works that He Himself had done).
GREATER WORKS is an organisation devoted to demonstrating the love of God, through His power.
In 2010 God impressed upon Dr. Lyndsey, to set up and oversee an organisation that would teach and bring the power of His Word back to the Christian community with humility and wisdom. For too long people have been talking about God but not demonstrating His power. The miraculuous should be a part of christian living. And when it is not, it is a problem.
The same God who parted the red sea, caused Jesus to walk on water and raises the dead - is alive and well today. And if we let him, He will use us to show it. Hence, Jesus said,
John 14.12. "And greater works than these shall YOU do because I go to the Father"
Founded in 2010, Greater Works is a parachurch ministry with a teaching, training flavour but unapologetically has its strongest, and unflinching emphasis on the demonstration of the supernatural, primarily in terms of miracles and healing.
You will see a sample of some of the testimonies of this ministry on this site, listed by a selection of categories of healing (disease, back problems, hearing problems, joint pain/problems, organs, emotions, problems with eyesight, violent injuries, hospitalization, implausible situations, and miscellaneous) The list is not exhaustive but gives an indication of what we care about and what we do on a daily basis.
We try to live lives available to The King. We consider ourselves both serious and dedicated to God. Within the first year of public ministry we have already suffered significant persecution and attacks. We are learning to act regardless.
We specifically desire to see the manifestation of the power of God, through the Sons of God. We desire to grow in power and Truth so that people are effectively healed and transformed. We are in the business of bringing supernatural solutions to a problem and manifesting the Kingdom of God around us. We follow His example and aim to walk like Him.
Elijah set wet sticks alight. Moses parted the sea. Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, walked on water, and fed the 5,000. In the shadows of disciples men were healed.
I personally believe we are living beneath the standard of love and power we are equipped to walk in. There is a world waiting to see the sons of God manifested. The Kingdom of God is at hand.
Taste and See.
I can tell you that this piece of chocolate cake tastes delicious. I can describe the texture and ingredients to you. I can tell you that it is moist and sweet and good.
I can tell you that I like it. But if you do not taste it for yourself, you will never really know if it does taste good or not.
Second hand information is not what God is looking for, for his followers. He wants the real deal.
"Taste and See" because we recognize that God wants his people to taste and see FOR THEMSELVES that HE IS GOOD.
Even mere 'science' will teach that experiential knowledge is one of the hardest to discount or forge.
Once you have tasted (experienced) God for yourself, you will see that He is good, and no-one will be able to tell you otherwise.
TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD.
 At Greater Works we do not settle for carnal christianity but we seek to be ALL that Jesus instructed us to be. Miracle workers in His Name and for His Glory. |  We believe that we are called to be people of Hope and of influence. We believe that our effectiveness matters and if we are not effective, this needs to be examined. We believe that people are dying and lost because the believers are not doing what they should. We believe that carrying the name of Jesus comes with a responsibility not just a blessing. |  We are conscious of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirt. We appreciate the personhood of all three and their respective roles. God is the creator and the ALL mighty. Jesus is Our hero, our example and our Everything. The Holy Spirit is Our Guide and Comforter. We teach with a focus on Jesus and who He is. In order that we might have a better understanding of who we are meant to be. |

 Jesus was not just wise, he was a miracle walking, truth talking, fearless powerhouse. From the start of his ministry to the end; signs and miracles followed him as a sign to the world that he is the Son of God. The bible also says that we are called to be sons of God. Sons of God are called upon to be able to represent Him and bring Glory to His name.
